You know how we’ve been saying “Warhammer is the best game in the Warhammer series?” But you know how we haven’t really talked about the Khorne faction’s unit roster? Well, that’s going to change, because we finally have a big fat list of the Khorne unit roster, with a tentative release date of March 15, 2018.
Warhammer 3 is a game I’ve been a fan of since the first one was released in the mid 90s. In fact, it was one of the reasons I decided to buy an XBox in the first place. For many years now, I’ve been hoping to get Total War on my XBox, and my recent visit to Gamescom this year was the perfect opportunity to test out the game’s first single player campaign. I’ll be honest I wasn’t expecting that much. But what I found was a unique blend of the RTS and RPG genres, something that really got my attention. I’m excited to see what’s in store for the rest of the campaign.
Total war: Warhammer 3 promises a rather wicked set of starting factions, four of which are dedicated to the ubiquitous Chaos Gods. We’ve already seen his influence spread throughout the Old and New Worlds via various agents like the Beastmen and the Norsk Tribes, and today’s reveal of Khorne ‘s unit list gives us an idea of how the Blood God goes about collecting all the skulls. Khorn’s troop deployment consists mainly of demonic units, but you can also use mortal champions. The god of blood loves hand-to-hand combat and equips his warriors with a hefty dose of magical power. The only long-range ability you have is the cannon, which the chaos god uses to fire devoured skulls at his enemies. 
Scarbrand was previously introduced as the first playable Legendary Lord of the Blood God, and we also got to see his armies against Kislev during the game’s demo. Here’s the full list of Khorn units, provided by developer Creative Assembly:

The composition of Khorn’s forces is the height of fury in Total War: Warhammer 3 and, if future discoveries don’t surprise us, could be the first choice for players who like to ram their units into enemy units and watch them tear their enemies apart at close range. The faction thrives the longer it is in combat, and its demonic units dissolve and return to the realm of chaos when its leadership drops to 0. While it is easy to attack demons, Chaos Warriors with double axes make an excellent anti-personnel unit. Gorebeast Chariots trade defense for a constant state of rage, and Bloodcrushers make excellent offensive cavalry. Although it’s hard to challenge armored minotaur with hard attacks, the Soul Grinders stole the show. An ordinary, truly terrifying fusion of metal and flesh that inspires terror. , they can fire their handguns before approaching and tearing the enemy apart.
