Rome’s Expeditions: Kill or Save The Triarchus
This initial option will serve as an excellent illustration of how decisions are made farther down the line.
Gaius requests that you spare the captain since no one else is capable of steering a ship. It’s a terrific starting place, but you can get the rest of the way by yourself. If you spare the captain, he will be grateful, and Gaius will agree. Warmongers will be irritated, but nothing you can’t manage at this stage in the game.
Another benefit is a few missions down the road. When it comes to capturing the rebel fort, you’ll need a captain to help you navigate the ships. He is willing to do it at no charge. He’ll also acknowledge that he was the one who started the pirate raid and beg pardon. If you don’t spare him, you’ll have to attack the opposing fort directly.
Captain is to be killed. You’ll make it home safely, and the warmongers will be pleased. However, some of your friends will expect you to behave in this manner in the future. Other than making Bestia a little happier, there are no perks to murdering him.
