Before Minecraft Snapshot 17w47a, pumpkins appeared naturally in the world with carved faces. This is no longer the case, and natural pumpkins are more realistic and have a shape – not a face. Of course, this means that natural pumpkins can no longer be used to make snow, irons or Jack-O-Lanterns or worn as hats. How do you carve a pumpkin in Minecraft? It’s actually quite simple, and the tutorial below will tell you everything you need to know about carving pumpkins in Minecraft.
How to carve a pumpkin in Minecraft
arm yourself with a pair of scissors, which you can make from two iron rods, and switch the pumpkin to carve it. A face will appear and you can take apart and reassemble the carved pumpkin as usual. When you cut them, you also get pumpkin seeds that you can use to grow pumpkins or even keep chickens.
How to find pumpkins in Minecraft
Before you can carve a pumpkin, you have to find it first. Pumpkins naturally grow above ground in almost every biome in the world. All they need is a block of grass and an empty space above it. This means that with the exception of deserts, beaches and oceans, pumpkins can be found almost everywhere. Look for grassy biomes with few visual obstacles, such as B. Taiga or lowland biomes. Pumpkins can also be found in forest cabins, marauder’s outpost tents, and taiga villages (replacing haystacks). Pumpkin seeds can be found in dungeons, mansions, villages or mines, and can then be grown. Carved pumpkins can also be found in the wild: They are found in the railway rooms of forest houses, as well as in outposts of marauders, where they are used as stuffed heads.
What to do with carved pumpkins
Carved pumpkins can be turned into lanterns by placing them over a torch on a craft table. You can also wear them on your head by placing them in the helmet slot in your inventory; that way you can confront the Endermen without angering them. It’s great when you go to The End to fight a dragon. Finally, they can be used to conjure Snow Golems and Iron Golems. Place the carved pumpkin on a snow block pole two people high to make a snow golem, or on a vertical T-shaped structure of iron blocks to make an iron golem.
What not to do with carved pumpkins
The carved pumpkin can’t be used to make pumpkin pie, and it can’t be placed on the craft table to take out the four pumpkin seeds. So don’t make the mistake of carving a pumpkin if you plan to do any of the above. — Here’s everything you need to know about carving pumpkins in Minecraft, and how to find and use them.
