Gwent’s newest update, 9.3, has been released and introduces a new game mode called “Battle on”. The mode is set to be the next big competitive feature in GWENT.

The 9.3 patch notes for Gwent show a number of balancing tweaks and modifications for all of the playable factions, as well as the return of Battle on Yaruga Bridge contracts and a redesigned Gascon leader model.

The 9.3 Patch update will give the Gascon leader a new title, avatar, and cardback, which will be unlocked through completing contracts associated with playing with him.

According to the Gwent 9.3 patch notes, the Battle on Yaruga Bridge contracts are linked to the Bridge on Yaruga Gameboard, which will enable players to acquire additional decorations.

Neutral

  • Provision cost for Arachas Venom has been reduced from 7 to 5.
  • Provision cost decreased from 6 to 5 for Elf and Onion Soup.
  • Shupe’s Day Off: The cost of provision has been reduced from 13 to 12.
  • The cost of Vigo’s Muzzle has been reduced from 12 to 11.
  • Provision cost was reduced from 11 to 10 in Dragon’s Dream.
  • Triss: Butterflies: The cost of provision has been reduced from 11 to 9.
  • Blaze: The cost of provision has been reduced from 11 to 10.
  • Ragh Nar Roog: The cost of provision has been reduced from ten to nine.
  • Provisioning cost was reduced from ten to nine dollars in the garrison.
  • Provision cost for Primordial D’ao has been reduced from ten to nine.
  • Scoundrel Zoltan: Provision cost has been reduced from ten to eight dollars.
  • Ifrit the Colossal’s power has increased from 4 to 5.

  • Ocvist: The power has been increased from 5 to 6.
  • Radeyah: The cost of provision has been reduced from 12 to 11.

Monsters

  • Ruehin: The cost of provision has been reduced from 11 to 10.
  • Provision cost has been reduced from 5 to 4 for Desert Banshee.
  • Caranthir Ar-Feiniel may only duplicate Monster units that have a provision cost of 10 or less.
  • Provision cost increased from 10 to 11 for Bloody Mistress.
  • Kikimore Queen: The cost of provision has been reduced from 11 to 10. The power was reduced from 5 to 4. Armor was increased from 2 to 3.
  • Plague Maiden: The cost of provisions has been reduced from 12 to 10.
  • Werewolf: Changed from a 4 to a 5 on the power scale.
  • Imlerith: The cost of provision has been reduced from ten to nine. The power was increased from 2 to 3.
  • Mammuna: The cost of provision has increased from ten to eleven dollars.
  • Selfeater’s power level has shifted from 6 to 5.
  • Armor for Kikimore Worker has been reduced from 4 to 3.

Skellige

  • The Warrior category has been added to Udalryk and Brokvar.
  • Provision cost has been reduced from 5 to 4 by An Craite Blacksmith. Armor was reduced from one to zero.
  • Heymaey Spearmaiden’s strength has increased from 5 to 6.
  • Harald a Craite: Instead of the resurrected bronze warrior, Harald a Craite now deals 2 damage to himself. This ability is more lore friendly for Harald and less likely to create technological problems, according to the developers.
  • Provision cost has been reduced from 5 to 4 for the Crow Clan Preacher.
  • Heymaey Skald: Your Ranged row ability is now locked. Developer comment: Players may now play Skald in Melee row if they’re concerned about having to discard a strong card otherwise.
  • Svanrige Turseach: The cost of provision has been reduced from 8 to 7.
  • Provision cost has decreased from 8 to 7. Jutta and Dimun: Provision cost has decreased from 8 to 7.

The Lands of the North

  • Con: The cost of provision has decreased from 7 to 6.
  • Odrin: The cost of provision has been reduced from seven to six.
  • Draug’s ability is now Zeal. Order: Without altering their power, transform all Human units on an ally row into Kaedweni Revenants. Players will now be able to choose a row in which to turn their people into Revenants, according to the developers.
  • Mad Kiyan’s Deathblow now regenerates his power.
  • Provision cost has been reduced from 6 to 5.
  • Bottling: The cost of provision has been reduced from 8 to 7.
  • Provision cost for Kaedweni Revenant has been reduced from 5 to 4.
  • Tissaia de Vries: The cost of provision has been reduced from 12 to 10.

Scoia’tael

  • Panther: The cost of provisioning has been reduced from 5 to 4.
  • The damage dealt by the Dryad Ranger’s Deploy ability has been increased from 1 to 2.
  • Ithlinne Aegli: Ithlinne Aegli’s power has increased from 5 to 6.
  • Sirssa: The cost of provision has been reduced from 8 to 7.

Nilfgaard

  • Ceallach Dyffryn: The cost of provision has been reduced from seven to six. The power level has shifted from 5 to 6.
  • Provision cost has been reduced from 5 to 4 for the Menagerie Keeper.
  • Vivienne de Tabris: The cost of provision has decreased from 9 to 8.

Syndicate

  • Damnation: The target units don’t have to be next to one other any more.
  • Tinboy: The cost of provision has increased from 12 to 11.
  • The power of Savolla’s Frightener has increased from 11 to 12.
  • The Sausage Maker’s fee has been reduced from five to three dollars.
  • Walter Veritas: The cost of provision has decreased from 9 to 8.
  • Pugo Boom-Breaker: Power was increased from ten to eleven.
  • Provision cost has been reduced from 5 to 4 for Mutant Killer. The power was reduced from 4 to 3.

Corrections to the game

  • Occasionally, a large portion of the card image will not show over the board.
  • When boosting by 0, Practice Makes Perfect and Ancient Foglet no longer activate SFX.
  • Brokvar Hunter and Elven Swordmaster now respond to troops from the opponent’s graveyard properly.
  • When triggered by Urn of Shadows, Bridge Troll may now be the target of its own Deathwish effect.
  • When Cat Witcher Mentor is used, face-down cards are now properly counted.
  • The Berserk tooltip was changed to say basic power instead of power.
  • Higher Vampire’s Deathwish effects no longer disregard the Doomed state, according to Viy and Dettlaff.
  • The Order ability of Dol Dhu Lokke no longer ignores troops with Immunity.
  • Thanedd Turncoat’s cooldown now responds appropriately when more than one instance of Spying is used at the same time.
  • When an opponent unit is killed on Deploy, Rico Meiersdorf may no longer drop to 0 power.
  • The tooltip for Ignatius Hale’s Tribute will now update properly.
  • Confession Extractor now includes VFX showing the graveyard’s source of harm.
  • When Selfeater uses its Order ability, it now sets its basic power rather than harming it.
  • If there are no eligible cards in the deck to select from, Isengrim’s Council will no longer declare the match a draw.
  • The tooltip for Practice Makes Perfect has been updated to highlight that the target allied bronze mage must be mixed into the deck before playing a random bronze mage from the deck.
  • The Spawned unit is now a basic duplicate of the target, according to Artaud Terranova’s tooltip.
  • The tooltips for Udalryk and Brokvar now state that Zeal can only be obtained via Deploy.
  • To mirror the modifications from the 9.206 hotfix, the tooltips for both Bloody Mistress and Gernichora have been updated to indicate that they both retain their power when transformed.

The gwent new cards is a new card expansion for the popular game, Gwent. Update 9.3 reintroduces Battle on and introduces an entirely new faction called Monsters.
