A few weeks ago, three former co-developers of the Witcher series announced their new project: Rebel Wolves. They are going to make “a game about love and hate” for Xbox One X in 2018 with a focus on storytelling. Here’s what we know so far.,

The “witcher 3 release date” is a game that was co-developed by the developers of The Witcher, who are now forming their own studio. This will be the first game in a series of games to be released on consoles and PC.

Former Witcher Co-Developers Form Rebel Wolves Studio

The Witcher 3’s Game Director, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, has formed a new pack at the startup firm Rebel Wolves.

Design Director Daniel Sadowski, Narrative Director and Main Writer Jakub Szamaek (Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Thronebreaker), Animation Director Tamara Zawada (Witcher 3, Shadow Warrior 2, Capcom Vancouver), Art Director Bartomiej Gawe (Witcher 1-3), CFO Micha Boryka, and Studio Head Robert Murzynowski are the members of Rebel Wolves.

The first installment of a planned story, this studio’s debut game will be a AAA dark fantasy using the Unreal 5 engine.

According to Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, CEO and Game Director of Rebel Wolves:

“Video games were always something we felt meant to pursue here at Rebel Wolves—something embedded in our DNA.” Personally, I’m overjoyed to have teamed up with pals that share this interest. We’re making a video game that we’d want to play the way games should be produced. We hope to push the cRPG genre forward by telling compelling tales and evoking strong emotions, all while working as a close-knit group with a same objective and vision. Collectively, we see Rebel Wolves as a location where seasoned game creators can rekindle their passion, concentrate on their craft, and pour their hearts and souls into a fantastic, ambitious game. We want to keep the company small and nimble, with individuals who know and care about one another.” Tomaszkiewicz, Konrad

Jakub Szamałek – Narrative Director & Main Writer added:

“We won’t pursue trends or metrics in order to make genuinely excellent games.” Our mission is clear: to make memorable games, convey compelling tales, and elicit strong emotions. True, it’s ambitious – and I applaud it. Ambition is required for art. I’m not interested in making a new game. I’d want to work on titles that will stick with people.” Szamaek, Jakub
