Dreamworld has been incredibly hard at work to bring the alpha to life and it is now available for everyone to try. If you are interested in being on the alpha, keep an eye out for announcements on social media.
We often hear about how important it is for game developers to release “alpha” versions of their games, so that early players can provide feedback on the game and help shape the final product. Dreamworld’s alpha is a trip and a half.
RememberDreamworld, or as it’s called here, the game that never seemed all that believable? The good news (for a very, very generous definition of good) is that the game has released an alpha (for a very, very generous definition of alpha) test version. The bad news (and no surprise) is that it’s a complete mess. And it’s hilarious. Any news about the beta? Sure, but it’s not that funny. Fortunately for our readers, this column and the list below are not new. However,contains in many games during testing, and as we’ve said several times, we’d love for you to share with us what came up in another phase of testing that we didn’t notice. That’s just being polite. 
As always, we believe that the open MMO is in a testing phase when it offers free public registration and when it sweeps the server before launch. An MMO is in thetesting phase, closed if it is in a closed testing phase that is not freely available to the general public; it is also usually under NDA. MMOs with early access and MMOs with crowdfunding that we believe are seriously testing will be included. So-called open-beta MMOs with online stores, no signs of a western launch, or limited interest to our readers will not be included; nor will we include expansions, with few exceptions. ViewDreamworld’s new game, Alpha, will be released on Steam Early Access today, 17th July 2018, and it’s an absolute trip. The game’s setting is a futuristic city on the moon. You play as a black cat, and you can run and jump around the city, looking for things to do and places to visit. It’s a really fun game, and it’s free to play..
