It’s easy to dismiss Apex Legends as a copy of Fortnite. But what if you look beyond the battle royale structure of the game and the visual similarity to Epic’s smash hit? (Remember: this is a new battle royale game also from Respawn Entertainment, the makers of Call of Duty and Titanfall.) What if you look at the wide range of characters and the way they fight? What if you look at the vehicles that players can use and the map design? What if you look at the way Apex Legends handles death? What if you look at the game’s depth? The truth is Apex Legends is different from Fortnite in a lot of ways, and it might not be quite as simple as playing Fortnite

Apex Legends has been out for about a month, and with that has come the inevitable launch of DLC. As is often the case with these updates, it features some new maps and weapons, but this time it is also introducing a new mode that will make its debut in the game.

Apex Legends is an upcoming battle royale game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts.

Apex Legends: Emergence Gameplay Trailer Highlights Season 10's New Champion, Arenas, and More

Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have published a new gameplay video showcasing some of the exciting new features that Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence will bring to gamers early next month.

New Legend Seer will be entering the Apex games in Season 10. He wears a fashionable hat and adds sensors and drones to the mix, allowing him to “hunt with surgical precision.”

The new weapon in Apex Legends Season 10 stands in stark contrast to Seer’s drones. The Rampage LMG is ideal for circumstances that need significant firepower, and a charge of Thermite Grenades may boost its firing rate.

Hammond Robotics’ destruction of World’s Edge continues, as shown by the newest map update for the battle royale. When Emergence launches in August, players will be greeted with “a rebirth and makeover of the map” that includes “changes to some of the game’s most popular POIs.”

For example, The Refinery has been replaced with The Climatzier, which is connected to a new site of attraction by moving gondolas. This in-depth look at the new World’s Edge can be found here.

Emergence also adds three new maps to Apex Legends’ Arenas mode: Hillside, Dome, and Oasis, increasing the game’s map pool. There will also be a new Battle Pass with new skins and additional prizes, as is customary.

The release date for Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence has been announced on August 3 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Below is a gameplay trailer for the game.
