July 18th, 2021. The Amazon Lunar platform has been renamed to Luna. You know, the Moon. And it’s not just that the name has been changed. It’s on the moon, in fact. In Washington DC. The company has been developing a commercial lunar platform for over 20 years, and it’s now ready for space.
Amazon, one of the biggest online retailers, recently had a huge event in Seattle. There, they announced the “Amazon Luna” Smart Phone, which is Amazon’s first smartphone. It comes with a 6.5″ Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It’s IP68 water-resistant, has a 30-watt fast charger, and a 4000mAh battery.
The biggest gaming event of the year is approaching, and gaming companies are announcing their newest games. Of course, Amazon has already been active with its own gaming announcements, and now it’s time for the big guns to roll in and reveal their games for the third quarter of 2021.
Hokko Life, Open Country, and Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead will be available on Luna+ starting in August.
For those unfamiliar, Hokko Life is a community simulation game in which players are tasked with transforming a sleepy hamlet into a beautiful rural town. Players are tasked with collecting flowers, mixing paints, crafting and combining materials, and other activities in order to construct, design, and decorate houses.
Meanwhile, Open Country immerses players in the open country’s harsh environment, where they must hunt, explore, and survive. Wolves and bears, as well as severe weather and other hazards, constitute a threat. Players may improve their guns and equipment as they go, taking on more difficult tasks that will put their skills to the test.
Finally, Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead shakes things up by requiring players to use their brains to fight walkers. Players will join up with Daryl, Eugene, and Michonne as they construct safe routes for cars and battle the undead in this game set in the universe of AMC’s The Walking Dead drama series.
